How do you do r/12 = 1.5?

    R/12 = 1.5

    Hence r/12 * 12 = 1.5*12

    Then r = 1.5*12

    To evaluate 1.5*12, you can consider it as one and a half of 12. Thus, it is equal to 12 + 6 = 18
