What is the perimeter of a square of side 2 centimeters?

    In a square all sides are the same length. perimeter is the distance around an object. In this case it is a square. There are 4 sides on a square. So you would have 4 2cm sides. So you add 2 4 times.

    2+2+2+2 = 2*4 = 8

    8 because a square is all the same size so ad up 2+2+2+2 it = 8
