Determine the area of a rectangle whose diagonal is 24cm and the angle between the diagonal is 60deg.

    Consider, ΔBCD, in rectangle,

    cos 60 = b/24

    1/2 = b/24

    b = 12

    Now, Sin 60 = p/24

    √3/2 = p/24

    p = 24√3/2 = 12√3

    Area would be : Length * Width = 12 * 12√3 = 144√3 cm²
