Standard form: Sam ordered 2 tacos and 3 enchiladas for lunch at the restaurant. His bill came to $7.80. If enchiladas were $2 each, write and solve a linear equation to find the cost of each taco

    If if i did my calculations correct it should be $1.85

    The answer should be $0.90 for each taco because 3x2 (3 enchiladas at $2 each) is 6. Then, 7.80-6 is 1.80. This is how much you have left for the tacos. So you take $1.80 and divide it by 2 because that's how many tacos you got and you end up with $0.90 for each taco.
