The Cruz family shares a family cell phone plan. The plan is for 3,200 cell phone minutes each month. The father had used 1,200 minutes. The mother has used at least 600 minutes. The two chirldren have used 675 minutes each. Write an inequality that shows the number of minutes the Cruz family has used. Explain your reasoning

    father used 1200

    each child used 675 (675 * 2) = 1350 min total

    mother used >=600

    1200 + 1350 = 2550

    2550 + 600 = 3150

    so minutes used is greater than or equal to 3150 minutes

    3200≥1200+600+675 Because, the phone plan only allows at maximum 3200 minutes, meaning that all of the minutes the family has used has to be less than or equal to 3200 minutes (Or 3200 minutes is greater than the amount of minutes used by the Cruz family)
