A rectangular prism has dimensions of 1/2 in, 2 in, and 7/2 in. (a) How many cubes with side lengths of 1/2 in. will fit into the prism? Explain your thinking! (b) What is the volume of this prism? Show your work!

    V = (l) (w) (h) = (1/2) (2) (7/2) = 14/4 in 3 14 divided by 4 = 3 2/4 in 3 3 x 4+2 = 14 so 14 in 3 is the answer for (A)
