    230 mph in 2 hours

    Step-by-step explanation:

first i found out how many miles does the train travel in one hour

    460 miles : 4 hours

    = 115 mph / 115 miles in one hour

the question asks what was the speed of the train when it completed half the distance

    half the distance = 1/2 of 460 = 230 miles

230 miles is half the distance of the trip

& we know this is correct because earlier we found out that the train travels 115 miles in one hour & in 2 hours it travels 230 miles

    115*2=230.

the one thing that i dont quite know is if you say the train is traveling 115 mph or 230 miles in 2 hours. im not sure of tnat.
