The length of a rectangle is 3 mm greater than the width. the area is 154 mm squared. find the length and the width.

    area = l x w

    l = w+3

    sqrt (154) = 12.4 round o 12

    12-1 = 11

    11+3 = 14

    11 * 14 = 154

    width = 11

    length = 14
