    3x+8+4x=-8 (x-6) - 8 (13x+5)

    Get rid of parenthesis.

    3x+8+4x=-8 (x-6) - 8 (13x+5)

    3x+8+4x=-8x+48-104x-40

    Comine like terms.

    7x+8=-112x+8

    Add 112x on both sides and subtract 8 from both sides.

    119x=0.

    Now since you cannot solve, or will get a 0, the answer is x=0.

    3x+8+4x=-8x+48-104x-40

    7x+8=-112x+8

    -7x - 7x

    8=-119x+8

    -8 - 8

    0=-119x

    0=x
