These. 2 fractions r not equivalent. to see it, just simplify them. as 72 could be divided by 9, we can change it to 7.875/9, just divide both by 8, because u know, 9x8 = 72. as you can see, 7.875/9 IS NOT 6/9. so they're not equivalent.

When reduced, 63/72 is equal to 3/4.
6/9 is equivalent to 48/72.
[ (6/9) * 8] = 48/72
6/9 and 48/72 are equivalent to 2/3.
3/4 (which would be 63/72) is greater that 6/9 (or 48/72).
