    Let the first number be y.

    Then First number = y

    Second number: 8y

    Third number = y+100

    Sum is

    y+8y+y+100=940

    10y+100=940

    10y=840

    y=8.4

    The first number is 8.4, the second number is 67.2 and the third number is 108.4
