Use a quadratic equation to find two real number that satisfy each situation, or show that no such number exist. their sum is - 15, and their product is 56

    Y = (X-8) (X-7)

    -8 • - 7 = 56

    -8 + - 7 = - 15

    Y = (X-8) (X-7)

    Y = x^2 - 15x + 56

    I believe this would be the quadratic equation.
