Suki is making a quilt from two different kinds of fabrics. One is 48 inches wide and the other is 54 inches wide. What are the dimensions of the the largest squares she can cut from both fabrics so there is wasted fabric?

    48 inch wide pieces ... that way, one is completely used, while the other's waste is minimized.
