So neclace cost 42.00 and another cost 28.00 and tax is 8% or 0.08 so

we can add them together then tax them

    42+28=70

then we add 8% of 70 to 70 so

8% of 70 is the same as 0.08 times 70=5.60

    5.60+70.00=75.60

    the total cost is $75.60
