A car traveled at 65 miles per hour for 1 hours and then traveled at 50 miles per hour for 2 hours. How many miles did the car travel?

    In order to find this, we need to start by finding how far it traveled in the first hour.

    65 miles per hour * 1 hour = 65 miles.

    Now we do the same for the second portion of the trip.

    50 miles per hour * 2 hours = 100 miles
