    (3a^2 - 2) ^2 - 4

    (3a^2 - 2) (3a^2 - 2) = 9a^6 - 12a^3 + 4

    9a^6 - 12a^3 + 4 - 4

    9a^6 - 12a^3

    factor: 3a^3 (3a^3 - 4)
