What is the answer to the absolute value of 2x minus 4 equals 10?

    X = 7. First cancel out 4 by adding 4 and doing the same to the other side of the equation. So, 10+4=14. Then to get X by itself, divide both sides by 2. So, 2x divided by 2 is X alone and 14 divided by 2 is 7.
