The length of a rectangle, l, is six meters more than its width, w. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 36 meters, what is the length of the rectangle, in meters?

    P=36

    L=W+6

    If W=6 then L=6+6=12

    P=12+12+6+6=36

    so W=6 and L=12
