    The volume of a cube is found using the formula v = s^3, where s is the length of a side.

    The volume of a cube with a side of 1/2cm is

    V = 1/2^3 = 1/8 cubic cm.

    Now multiply the volume of one cube by total cubes:

    1/8 x 96 = 12 cubic cm

    The prism has a volume of 12 cubic cm.
