Susan is on her way home in her car. She has driven 6 miles so far, which is two-thirds of the way home. What is the total length of her drive?

    If two thirds is 6 miles, then one third should be half of that, or 3 miles. Since there are 3 thirds in a whole, the whole length of her drive is 3 x 3 = 9 miles.

    3•2=6 so each 3rd is 3 miles so 3•3=9 the correct answer is 9 miles.
