Eric purchase 4 feet of the wire. he cuts it into 3 pieces. if the first piece is 1 foot 7 inches long and the second piece is 1 foot 6 inches long, how many inches is the third piece

    There is 12 inches in one foot.

    12 x 4 = 48 inches

    1ft7" = 19 inches

    1ft6" = 18 inches

    19+18 = 37

    48-37 = 11

    The last piece is 11 inches long
