    1 dozen of calculators = 12 calculators

    Selling calculators at $20 for every 3 calculators is the same as selling calculators at $80 for every 12 calculators, or 1 dozen.

    b=number of dozen of calculators bought, or 6

    s=number of dozen of calculators sold, or 6

    p=amount of profit

    65 (b) - 80 (s) = |p|

    65 (6) - 80 (6) = |p|

    390-480=|p|

    -90=|p|

    90=p

    The profit on six dozen calculators is $90.
