Ming says that 0.24 > 1/4 because 0.24 = 2/4. Which best explains Ming's error?

    Ming is saying that 2/4 is 0.24, based on the numbers, but this is false.

    1/4 as a decimal is 0.25, which is slightly larger than 0.24.

    So that means 0.24 < 1/4.

    Because 0.24 = 24/100 and 1/4 = 25/100 and 0.24 = 24/100 and 2/4 / 50/100=2

    and so she missed calcuated and so its wrong.

    the correct answer is 0.24<2/4 then 0.24=/2/4
