The correct answer is 3 1/3. Change 10 2/3 into an improper fraction - 32/3. Divide 32/3 by 8. To divide a fraction, you take the reciprocal of the divisor and multiply it by the dividend. Translation - Flip the second number 8/1 to 1/8 and multiple it with the first number 32/3. The result is 32/24 which reduced is 4/3 or 3 1/3.
