In January, the normal low temperature in New Haven, Connecticut is 17°F while the normal high is 35°F. What is the spread between the low and high temperature?

    Well, to figure this one out all you have to do is subtract the two numbers from each other.

    So, 35-17=18

    Therefore, the answer would be 18 degrees fahrenheit : - )
