When there is certain number you have to round, you always look at the digit to the right of it.
As in example, since we are rounding to the nearest hundred thousand, we have to look at the ten thousand's place to round.
0 - 4 means you round down
5 - 9 means you round up
Since the number next to the hundred thousand's place is 9, we round up.

=> 600,000
