What is f (x) and how do you get f (7)

    I’m not sure what you mean but here’s what I think:

    • f (x) is basically another use for "y".

    • f (7) : 7 is the "x" variable that is put into the equation. Because the original form is "f (x) ", we know that with 7 in place of "x", 7=x.
