Solve for y in terms of x.

2/3y - 4 = x

y = 3/2 x + 6

y = - 2/3x + 4

y = - 3/2x + 6

y = 2/3x + 4

    Add 4 to both sides,

    2/3y=x+4

    Multiply 3 by both sides,

    2y=3 (x+4)

    Divide both sids by 2

    y=3 (x+4) / 2
