A car drives in a circular path with a diameter of 1200 feet. if the car completes exactly two laps each minute, what is the car's speed, in feet per second? express your answer to the nearest whole number.

    D=rt where d is distance, r is the rate (speed), and t is time. the circumference of the circle is found by 2πr. so the circumference of the circle made by the car is 1200π. Now, we can divide both sides of the equation by our time. It takes 30 seconds for the car to complete one circle since the car does 2 every 60 seconds. this means the speed is 1200π/30 which comes out to 125.66 feet per second. The answer is 126 ft/s.
