How do i do - 1 1/2 - 2 4/7

    First you change your fractions to an improper fraction. so - 3/2 and 18/7. Then you subtract the top and bottom which is - 21/-5. a negative over a negative is a positive so it would be 21/5 then you can change it back to a mixed number. so your answer would be 4 1/5
