How to round 1356 to the nearest ten, hundred and thousand

    To round to the nearest ten, you round the number in the ones column up or down, depending on the number. In 1356's case, you round the 6 up, which rounds the number up to the nearest 10 = 1360.

    To the nearest hundred, you do the same, except with the ten's column. In this case it rounds up to 1400.

    The thousands column is - you guessed it - the same but with the hundred's column. In this case, you round it down, so it will be 1000.
