    45 / 360 = 6/x

    45x = 2160

    x - 2160/45 = 48 people

    2)

    n = (n - 1) - 5

    3)

    7x - 11 = 19 - 3x

    add 3x to both sides:

    10x - 11 = 19

    add 11 to both sides:

    10x = 30

    divide both sides by 10:

    x = 30/10 = 3

    4)

    4 (8) (11) - 64 = 288

    5)

    (5, 0)

    6)

    -4x - 3 + 2x - 6 = - 2x - 9

    7)

    1.8 (-20) + 32 = - 4F

    8)

    Exterior angle add to 360

    360/6 = 60 degrees

    10)

    2x/9 = 12

    2x = 108

    x = 108/2 = 54

    11)

    x = 0

    12)

    8 + 3 + 1 = 12

    240/12 = 20

    8 (20) = 160

    3 (20) = 60

    1 (20) = 20

    160 pounds, 60 pounds, 20 pounds
