Suppose that an empty crate weighs 2 kilograms. A typical orange weighs about 0.2 kilogram. The total weight of the crate with oranges is 10 kilograms. How many oranges are in the crate?

    0.2x + 2 = 70 ... x = number of oranges

    0.2x = 70 - 2

    0.2x = 68

    x = 68/0.2

    x = 340 <===
