A restaurant needs to buy 367 new plates in it, if each box has three plates in it, how how many boxes will they need to buy?

    You need to divide 367 by 3 = 122.3 but you cant have. 3 of a box so this needs to be rounded up to 123 as even though this will be more than the needed amount, it is the minimum amount needed.

    To double check:

    123 x 3 = 369.

    So they will have 2 spare.
