    x, y - two integers

the product of two integers is 112

    (1) xy = 112

one number is four more then three times the other

    (2) y = 3x + 4 substitute it to (1)

    x (3x + 4) = 112 use distributive property

    (x) (3x) + (x) (4) = 112

    3x² + 4x = 112

    Answer: A. 3x^2+4x=112
