    they give you 116 candy bars in 2 hours and 198 candy bars in 3 hours

    they say time is x so the ordered pairs would be (2,116) and (3,198)

    using the ordered pairs you can find the slope

    y2-y1 / x2-x1 =

    198 - 116 / 3-2 = 82/1

    m=82

    y intercept = 82*2 + b = 116 = 164 + b = 116 b = 116 - 164 = - 48

    y = 82x-48

    when x = 5

    y = 82 (5) - 48 = 362 candy bars sold in 5 hours
