The length of a parking lot is 4 yards more than the width. If the area of the parking lot is 60 square yards, find the dimensions of the parking lot.

    Width = x

    Length = x+4

    X (x+4) = 60

    X^2 + 4x=60

    (X+10) (x-4)

    X=-10 and 4

    Can't use - 10. So the answer is width = 4. Length = 8
