When two angles are complementary what is the sum of their measures is 90 degrees. two complementary angles have the measure of 2x-10 degrees and 3x-10 degrees?

    2x - 10 + 3x - 10 = 90

    5x - 20 = 90

    5x = 90 + 20

    5x = 110

    x = 110/5

    x = 22

    2x - 10 ... 2 (22) - 10 = 34 < = = one angle

    3x - 10 ... 3 (22) - 10 = 56 < = = the other angle
