What multiplies to - 36 but adds to - 3

    Xy=-36

    x+y=-3

    x = - 36/y

    -36/y + y = - 3

    -36 + y^2 = - 3y

    y^2 + 3y - 36 = 0

    I think you have to use quadratic formula to find the 2 values of y and then plug in for x
