    Assuming you are talking about the diametre of a circle, there are two questions you could be asking:

    Circumference-diametre times pi

    Area-1/2diametre squared times pi

    I'm assuming you want the radius, which is just half of the diameter.

    If you want the area of the circle use the formula: A = πr^2
