Alexis has a steady babysitting job over the summer. She starts out with $50 by the end of the first week and earns $30 each week. She thinks it will take her 7 weeks or more to have enough money to buy a $200 iPhone. Will it take less time than this? If so, how many weeks will it take? Justify your answer using complete sentences and proper grammar.

    It will take Alexis 5 weeks. If she starts off with $50, she will still need $150. Then, she earns $30 each week every week. Making $30 for 5 weeks will get Alexis to $150, because 30*5 is 150. Then once you add in the money she started with you will get $200. $150+$50=$200.
