Jackson wanted to increase the price of his hotdogs by 30%. He was selling them for a 1.50 each. If he was buying them at $1 a piece how much profit would he make by selling 8 hotdogs. Hint:Profit=selling price-cost

    He would now be selling the hotdogs at $5, because 1.50/.30=5. is he buys them at a dollar a piece, and he needs 8, that would be $8. his profit from the hotdogs would be $40 from the dogs alone, but subtracting the $8 would give you a final profit of $32.
