Kristy is making a rectangular quilt. The length of the quilt is twice longer than it's width. If the perimeter of the quilt is to be 36 feet, what will be it's width?

A. 4ft

B. 5ft

C. 6ft

D. 10ft

    The answer would be C6.

    so we know the perimeter is 36 and the function for perimeter is 2L + 2W=P.

    we also know that two times w length

    so we take 6 * 2 equals 12 + 12 * 2 which equals 24 + 12 + 36 because 12 * 3 is 36.
