What is the slope-intercept form equation of the line that passes through (3, 4) and (5, 16) ?

    Slope Intercept Form:

    y = mx + b

    m = 16-4 / 5-4 = 12 / 2 = 6

    so far ... y = 6x + b

    b = - 14

    y = 6x - 14
