The answer to your question is 3/2 cups

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Data

    Milk needed = 4 cups

Milk that she has = 3/4

Milk her neighbor has = 3/4

Milk the second and third neighbors have = 1/2

    Process

    1. - Calculate the Milk that Joanna has

    3/4 + 3/4 + 1/2 + 1/2 = (3 + 3 + 2 + 2) / 4

    = 10/4

    = 5/2

    2. - Subtract the Milk that she has from the Milk needed.

    4 - 5/2 = (8 - 5) / 2

    = 3/2

    3. - Conclusion

Joanna needs 3/2 cups to make a pudding.
