    Width=12 cm

    Length=22 cm

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Let the width be x

    Length = 2 cm less than twice the width

    =2x-2

    Perimeter of a rectangle=2 (length+width)

    68=2{ (2x-2) + x}

    68=2 (2x-2+x)

    68=2 (3x-2)

    68=6x-4

    68+4=6x

    72=6x

    Divide both sides by 6

    72/6=6x/6

    12=x

    Width=12 cm

    Length=2x-2

    =2 (12) - 2

    =24-2

    =22 cm
