A cyclist travels 45 miles in 3 hours. What is the cyclists speed?

    45 miles in 3 hrs

    45/3 = 15

    15 miles per hour

    The answer would therefore, be 15 mph

    If the answer is asked for in terms of mph, then you just do 45 : 3 = 15 mph
