There are 65 children in sixth grade. There are 15 more boys than girls. How many girls are in the class?

    65-15 = 50

    50 divided by 2 is 25

    so there are 25 girls

    Their could be 25 girls and 40 boys, because then there would be an equal mont of girls and boys until you add 15 more boys. 25+40=65
