There are 15 books on a shelf. 9 of these books are new

    so used books = 15 - 9 = 6

    (a) What is the ratio of new books to used books

    = 9:6

    = 3:2

    (b) What is the ratio of used books to all books?

    = 6:15

    = 2:5
