    c) 0.65 * (P-35); $107.25

This can be easily found by elimination and plugging in.

We know it can't be "d" because that's the only answer with $95.00. It can't be "a" either because it starts with (P-0.35), unlike the other answers. Now you're left with "b" and "c".

We know that the original price is 200, which we plug in for "P".

    b) 0.65 * (P) - 35

    0.65 * (200) - 35

    130-35 = 95

This doesn't equal $107.25, so it can't be the answer.

    c) 0.65 * (P-35)

    0.65 * (200-35)

    0.65 * (165) = $107.25

    Therefore the answer is C.
